An interview with the author of the upcoming book, "Black Box Voting". When is the book going to come out, already??
I'm interested in electronic voting issues.

Any electronic system that can't accept a output, should not be considered valid for voting.
I would suggest a simple label printer, or barcode printer, that prints a ticket that can be taken away by the voter. An even better approach would be to print a ticket, that is separated and half becomes a label attached to the voters registration info. The paper can be deposited in a box, and a copy can be taken out.
The Voting machine ballot count must duplicate the number of ballots registered at the polling location. If it doesn't, a formal investigation should take place. It should be a felony to manipulate ballot information.
