Sometimes computer networking can be so confusing, especially when you
are trying to keep current on a linux distribution through constant
upgrades. The latest challenge was that Mandrake released a newer
version of OpenSSH, but they neglected to mention that they compiled it
with libwrap support. After installing, all of a sudden none of my
other boxes could ssh in. I've learned to search for the exact syntax
of the error messages on google and I ended up finding the answer (I had
to put some extra commands into my "hosts.allow" file) but man, it sucks
when the only way to solve a problem is to answer a question that you
have no way of knowing you even need to ask.
